Thus begins my legal blog...
before i begin, perhaps a bit about myself. i am a 1st year law student at a well known top law school. i am female. i am black. i am also a bit radical at times. i believe in social justice and will fight for it at all costs. i will enter into the public interest and service field after i graduate to further serve my community. i used to teach in a well known program in a large city on a coast but now i have succumbed to the call of academia- at least for the time being.
i am not the most diligent in writing these things but an experience today made me feel the need to find some type of outlet to express myself (and my frustrations) with school, my classmates, the legal profession, and the state of our nation today.
i don't claim to be an expert in anything. but what i know is my own experience, however biased or one-sided it may be. it is my truth. it is my reality.
